Education

Case Western Reserve University — Cleveland, OH B.S. Electrical Engineering & Computer Engineering, minor in Mathematics Aug 2024 – May 2028 · GPA 3.88/4.00

Coursework: Electronic Circuits, Electromagnetic Fields, Semiconductor Devices, Computer Logic & Design, Electromechanical Energy Conversion, Computer Architecture, Discrete Math.

Experience

AtmoSense — San Diego, CA Electrical Engineering Intern · Jun 2026 – Aug 2026

  • Redesigned an ozone-sensing PCB in KiCad, replacing an ItsyBitsy M0 module with a bare ATSAMD21G18A-A. Cut board area 44% (3644 mm² to 2023 mm²) and MCU BOM cost 45%, while doubling flash and adding USB-C with ESD protection.
  • Routed I2C, SPI, ADC, and PWM across the sensor and signal-conditioning subsystems on a 4-layer stackup, with the analog front end kept away from digital switching.
  • Sized the power path against measured worst-case heater current, and found through thermal analysis that the firmware duty cap is what keeps the regulator inside its junction-temperature limit.
  • Took the board through ERC, DRC, and design-for-manufacturing review to a JLCPCB assembly handoff.

Case School of Engineering — Cleveland, OH Peer Advisor, Electrical & Computer Engineering · Aug 2026 – Present

  • Advise undergraduate EE students on course sequencing, major requirements, and research pathways in weekly office hours, and organize outreach events with faculty and the Career Center.

Energypac — Dhaka, Bangladesh Power Engineering Division Intern · Jun 2025 – Aug 2025

  • Diagnosed electrical faults in industrial generator systems using schematics and test instrumentation, restoring functionality for aftersales clients.
  • Ran installation and commissioning, verifying wiring, protection circuits, and control systems against specification.

Jenkins Lab, Case Western Reserve University — Cleveland, OH Embedded Software Intern · Jan 2025 – May 2025

  • Wrote C++ firmware for an ESP32-based portable microscope, resolving the resolution-versus-framerate tradeoff by running two sensor configurations instead of one: a 160×120 MJPEG preview for aiming the lens and 1024×768 stills captured on demand.
  • Split camera capture and web-server tasks across both ESP32 cores, eliminating the WiFi dropouts and resets caused by full-resolution capture blocking the network stack.
  • Extended battery runtime from 20 minutes to over 6 hours with low-power design, battery monitoring, and automated shutdown.

Selected Projects

Deeper write-ups live in the Work section. The highlights:

  • AtmoSense Ozone Devboard — a 4-layer, 41.91 × 48.26 mm sensing board built around a bare SAMD21. Analog front end, PWM heater control with current sensing, SPICE-verified power integrity, and a design-for-manufacturing pass for machine assembly.
  • Web-Controlled ESP32 Microscope — remote-imaging firmware for an M5TimerCAM: FreeRTOS task model, async web server, battery-aware power management.
  • Pacman Pathfinding — greedy best-first search with Manhattan-distance heuristics driving ghost behavior.

Skills

Hardware — PCB schematic capture and layout (KiCad), ERC/DRC review, design for manufacturing, circuit debug and assembly, soldering, oscilloscope and multimeter test Embedded — ATSAMD21 (ARM Cortex-M0+), ESP32, Arduino, I2C, SPI, UART, ADC, PWM, firmware bring-up, low-power design Software — C++, C, Python, MATLAB, Verilog, Java, JavaScript Tools — Git, PlatformIO, VS Code, Linux, ngspice, Hugo

Leadership

Muslim Students Association — Treasurer, May 2025 – Present

  • Secured $10,000+ in club funding by presenting itemized budget cases to the university’s student funding board, including $4,000+ for Fall 2026, a 43% increase over the ~$2,800 of prior semesters.
  • Tracked the budget across roughly 10 events per semester plus 6 Ramadan iftars, with full fund utilization and no deficit.

Awards

  • Case Alumni Association Junior–Senior Scholarship (Mar 2026)
  • Case Alumni Association Sophomore Scholarship (Oct 2025)
  • Dean’s High Honors, 3 semesters (Fall 2024 – Fall 2025)
  • Cutter Alumni Endowment Fund Scholar (Oct 2024)
  • Daily Star Certificate of Excellence, GCE O-Level & A-Level
